Report: Creve Coeur School District spent $10,744 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Creve Coeur School District 76 was up 14.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Tazewell County school district spent $9,359 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,744 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 607 to 527 students over the same period.

Creve Coeur's spending in 2019-20 was 25.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
