Report: Itasca School District spent $12,467 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Itasca School District 10 was up 11.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $11,146 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,467 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 958 to 1,021 students over the same period.

Itasca's spending in 2019-20 was 14 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
