Report: Chaney Monge School District spent $14,597 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Chaney Monge School District 88 was up 42.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Will County school district spent $10,267 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,597 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 467 to 424 students over the same period.

Chaney Monge's spending in 2019-20 was 0.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
