Report: Vit School District spent $10,462 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Vit Community Unit School District 2 was down 1.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Fulton County school district spent $10,648 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,462 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 369 to 328 students over the same period.

Vit's spending in 2019-20 was 27.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
