The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pennsylvania Insurance Department are working together to promote safe driving during the holiday travel season. A press event is scheduled for Monday, November 24 at 11:00 AM at the PA Turnpike TIP Building in Middletown, PA. The event is set to take place outside at the back of the main entrance parking lot but may move indoors if there is bad weather.
Larry Shifflet, Executive Deputy Secretary of PennDOT; Mark Compton, Chief Executive Officer of the PA Turnpike; Sgt. Logan Brouse from PSP's Communications Office; and Dave Buono, Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Market Regulation are expected to participate in this event.
