Friendswood Independent School District issued the following announcement.
"On Saturday, January 16th nine amazing singers represented the Friendswood High School choir program at the highly competitive Area (All-State) Audition. They have been working tirelessly on this music since as early as last July, and Mrs. Smith and I couldn't be more thankful to have such talented, classy singers in our choirs. We are proud to say that five of these students will be members of the prestigious TMEA All-State Choirs that we hope will be able to perform together sometime in June," Mike Tyer.
