Report: Villa Park School District spent $14,839 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Villa Park School District 45 was up 16.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $12,726 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,839 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 3,530 to 3,306 students over the same period.

Villa Park's spending in 2019-20 was 2.4 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
