Report: Naperville School District spent $15,699 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Naperville Community Unit School District 203 was up 7.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $14,545 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,699 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 16,788 to 16,546 students over the same period.

Naperville's spending in 2019-20 was 8.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
