Report: New Lenox School District spent $11,911 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at New Lenox School District 122 was up 9.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Will County school district spent $10,854 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,911 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 5,284 to 5,255 students over the same period.

New Lenox's spending in 2019-20 was 17.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
