Report: Burbank School District spent $12,143 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Burbank School District 111 was up 30.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $9,286 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,143 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,447 to 3,512 students over the same period.

Burbank's spending in 2019-20 was 16.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
