Report: Emmons School District spent $14,518 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Emmons School District 33 was down 5.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $15,391 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,518 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 303 to 302 students over the same period.

Emmons's spending in 2019-20 was 0.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
