Report: Nauvoo-Colusa School District spent $11,786 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Nauvoo-Colusa Community Unit School District 325 was up 17.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Hancock County school district spent $10,032 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,786 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 228 to 242 students over the same period.

Nauvoo-Colusa's spending in 2019-20 was 18.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
