Report: Silvis School District spent $10,337 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Silvis School District 34 was up 10.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Rock Island County school district spent $9,340 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,337 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 642 to 639 students over the same period.

Silvis's spending in 2019-20 was 28.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
