Report: Lake Park School District spent $18,820 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lake Park Community High School District 108 was up 9.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $17,148 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $18,820 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,642 to 2,498 students over the same period.

Lake Park's spending in 2019-20 was 29.9 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
