Report: Lincoln School District spent $12,150 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lincoln Elementary School District 156 was up 21.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,022 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,150 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,030 to 917 students over the same period.

Lincoln's spending in 2019-20 was 16.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
