Report: Millburn School District spent $14,170 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Millburn Community Consolidated School District 24 was up 27 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $11,159 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,170 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,287 to 1,200 students over the same period.

Millburn's spending in 2019-20 was 2.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
