Report: West Harvey-Dixmoor School District spent $15,024 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at West Harvey-Dixmoor Public School District 147 was up 16 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $12,949 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,024 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,252 to 888 students over the same period.

West Harvey-Dixmoor's spending in 2019-20 was 3.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
