Report: Lombard School District spent $17,073 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lombard School District 44 was up 17.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $14,509 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,073 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,126 to 3,127 students over the same period.

Lombard's spending in 2019-20 was 17.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
