Report: Durand School District spent $14,848 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Durand Community Unit School District 322 was up 10.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Winnebago County school district spent $13,395 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,848 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 569 to 625 students over the same period.

Durand's spending in 2019-20 was 2.5 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
