Report: Lake Zurich School District spent $15,614 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 was up 13.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $13,762 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,614 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 5,685 to 5,543 students over the same period.

Lake Zurich's spending in 2019-20 was 7.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
