Report: Morton Grove School District spent $15,792 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Morton Grove School District 70 was up 15.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $13,628 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,792 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 898 to 887 students over the same period.

Morton Grove's spending in 2019-20 was 9 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
