Report: Consolidated School District spent $17,427 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Consolidated High School District 230 was up 14.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $15,199 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,427 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 7,621 to 7,437 students over the same period.

Consolidated's spending in 2019-20 was 20.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
