Report: Cissna Park School District spent $9,858 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Cissna Park Community Unit School District 6 was down 4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Iroquois County school district spent $10,271 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,858 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 305 to 281 students over the same period.

Cissna Park's spending in 2019-20 was 32 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
