Report: Henry Senachwine School District spent $13,046 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Henry Senachwine Community Unit School District 5 was up 14.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Marshall County school district spent $11,408 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,046 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 600 to 555 students over the same period.

Henry Senachwine's spending in 2019-20 was 10 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
