Report: Chicago Ridge School District spent $11,409 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Chicago Ridge School District 127-5 was up 10.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,313 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,409 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,432 to 1,413 students over the same period.

Chicago Ridge's spending in 2019-20 was 21.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
