Report: Reed Custer School District spent $14,671 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Reed Custer Community Unit School District 255U was up 4.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Will County school district spent $14,079 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,671 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,570 to 1,341 students over the same period.

Reed Custer's spending in 2019-20 was 1.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
