Report: Hinsdale School District spent $22,577 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Hinsdale Township High School District 86 was up 20.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $18,804 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $22,577 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 4,387 to 4,149 students over the same period.

Hinsdale's spending in 2019-20 was 55.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
