Report: Burr Ridge School District spent $22,372 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Burr Ridge Community Consolidated School District 180 was up 35.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $16,458 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $22,372 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 672 to 546 students over the same period.

Burr Ridge's spending in 2019-20 was 54.4 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
