Report: Peoria Heights School District spent $11,014 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Peoria Heights Community Unit School District 325 was down 3.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $11,369 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,014 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 819 to 724 students over the same period.

Peoria Heights's spending in 2019-20 was 24 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
