Report: Peoria School District spent $15,527 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Peoria School District 150 was up 15.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $13,458 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,527 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 13,297 to 12,864 students over the same period.

Peoria's spending in 2019-20 was 7.1 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
